Prom Glamour

Just a little sneak peek at a beautiful glamour shot of a very pretty young lady. This was taken on the day of her Prom. It literally blows my mind to see how similar Proms are to Weddings now-a-days. The Family involvement is very touching, the getting ready, the hair, the makeup, the accessories that took months to find, the shoes and … THE DRESS.

I photographed a lot of love and excitement, but this is just one of my faves! We grow up SO fast, don’t we?

Exciting News! – New York City Glamour Photography

I’m very excited to share this June Jasmine E. Photography will be offering  GLAMOUR Photography!!  Sexy, classy, tasteful contemporary portraits for everyday women.

Two weeks ago, I photographed 5 women in a way they’ve NEVER been photographed before. Most of which have never had a  professional photograph taken their entire lives. 5 women at different points of their lives and careers of various sizes, ages, and ethnicities. Crescent Club Wedding – Baked to Perfection Wedding Cake – New York City Wedding Photographer

The Wedding Cake ….

The center piece of your entire day. Your cake is all about personal style and flair, but if you’re anything like me, not only must your cake look good it HAS to TASTE magnificent! At a recent wedding at the Crescent Club in Bayville Long Island, I laid eyes on one of the prettiest wedding cakes I have ever seen. The simple fondant ruching that wrapped  along the front of the cake was very elegant. And the diamond ribbon around the base of each layer really added a high end touch. So simple, yet gorgeous. It was lit by basic pin light, but simple lighting makes all the difference in a prestigious display. I’m guilty, I have to admit this …. I definitely can’t leave a wedding without sampling the cake!!  I just have to have a taste! Mostly because I’m addicted, but also because the flavor choices at each wedding says a lot about the wedding couple.  I was dying to see if it was as decadent as it looked and I have to say, this beautiful wedding cake by Baked to Perfection in Port Washington New York did not disappoint! Moist, creamy, rich and custard-y!! Mmmmmm ….
